Quantum Technologies

We investigate the implications of quantum computation, communication, sensing, and quantum-inspired methods for future information systems. Our interests include quantum-resilient security, the protection of long-lived data, emerging quantum capabilities, and the practical conditions required to move promising concepts toward operational use.

Secure and Private Information Systems

We explore cryptographic architectures and privacy-enhancing technologies that protect information throughout its lifecycle. This includes methods for reducing dependence on persistent encryption keys, applying policy directly to protected data, controlling access across organizational boundaries, and preparing security systems for both present-day and future adversaries.

Space Systems and Resilience

Space is becoming an increasingly important computational, communications, and security domain. We examine how advanced security and quantum technologies may support resilient spacecraft, satellite networks, distributed sensing, autonomous operations, and secure information exchange between terrestrial and space-based infrastructure.
